Scanned DVD jacket art from the Full Metal Alchemist The Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa...

Was stunned when I opened it to see this gorgeous watercolor on the inside. Probably one of the best jacket arts I've seen. Just had to share it with everyone. Especially for those people who might not get to see the jacket art because they can't buy the actual DVD.

If you haven't seen the movie, SEE IT. Well actually see the anime series in full first or you'll just be lost in the movie. But its one of the best series to movie staying in CANNON with actually manga storyline that I've seen to date.

Saw the first English US showing at Otakon '06 this summer WITH the English voice actors there. Was absolutley insane and a really awesome memory.

I agree, I loved that DVD jacket.
The movie was great, but I didn't see the whole series first. I was very lost. Even though I was confused, I still loved the movie. =D

Have you tried youtube.com? You should be able to find the series on there for semi-download.

Anime art is in its own right is wonderful. Paging thru art books of the series done by the creators are amazing. You just kinda stare at the pictures in awe. So this was a total surprise to open it up and see it.

Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Yeah, I've been to youtube. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck with old and slow dial-up, so it takes a long time for anything to load on there.

Oh yeah, I agree. Anime art is amazing. Heh, I just like to go open the DVD case to look at that picture.

=)

You're welcome! I'm such a geek about dvd/cd artwork. One of my favorite things about opening a new purchase is seeing what goodies are inside!

me too!!!!when i opened it i saw the watercolor behind it and i took the dvd and the conquror of shamballa guide away and i just sat there and admired it. it's really a beautiful picture. do u think it's al elric or alphonse h.??
Definetly Al Elric...the facial features of the Al on the cover are a bit younger than Al H. was in the movie, but thats my opinion. If you look at the books in the background they're all modern science books that Ed would be using to "teach" Al about the parallel world science. More than likely looking for a way to stop the bomb and maybe even find away home again.
